SESAME SEEDS PROCESSING
Jigawa state government says it would continue with its policy of empowering people to boost the economy of the state.
Deputy Governor Barrister Ibrahim Hassan Hadejia gave the assurance when inspecting the sesame processing machine which tested the commencement at sesame processing at Andaza in Kiyawa local government area.
He expressed satisfaction with the performance of the machine which produces 8 bags of sesame in less than ten minutes.
Barrister Ibrahim Hassan Hadejia said the state had made arrangement with custom service and federal ministry of trade to establish t offices that will be in partnership with the seseme production processing company.
In his speech the general manager of the company Alhaji Ja’afar Mohammed Lawan said apart from sesame processing the company will process and package various types of food for export.
He said when the company commence fully it will attract investors as well as create job opportunity to the teaming youth.
Also speaking the managing director Jigawa state investment and properties Alhaji Halliru said the company will facilitate the export of the commodities to African countries and Europe.
He said the company will ensure quality production to obtain higher prices in sales.
