The Governor of Jigawa State Alhaji Muhammad Badaru Abubakar has presented a budget proposal of ₦157.54 Billion before the Jigawa State House of Assembly.

Governor Muhammadu Badaru while presenting the appropretion bill said the State Government has achieved 96% implementation of this year’s budget.

Alhaji Muhammad Badaru Abubakar explained that the proposed estimate was tagged “Budget for sustainable Growth and social Transformation II”.

He said ₦73.97 Billion was set aside for capital projects which are 47% of the total budgets.

Governor Muhammad Badaru also presented the 27 Local Government Councils budget estimate of ₦68.32 Billion.

He said ₦12.367 Billion was set aside for recurrent expenditure and ₦21.174 Billion are for capital projects.
