Upon his return from the just concluded World Sesame Convention held in Istanbul, Turkey the Executive Governor of Jigawa State Alhaji Muhammad Badaru Abubakar paid a courtesy visit to the Chinese Ambassador in Nigeria Dr. Zhou Pingjian at the Chinese Embassy in Abuja.

They discussed issues concerning the State and the Nation at large, while urging the Chinese Ambassador to consider the State and the Nation on their Agricultural activities.

The Governor however refer to the world sesame convention which he insist China has more to do to help the Nigerian sesame seed farmers and Merchants in expanding their activities. He also called on the Chinese Government to remove the 10% level placed on sesame seeds exported to China.

While responding, the Chinese Ambassador promised to give total support to Agricultural production in Jigawa State.
